Children with autism can find the world stressful and confusing, which often leads to obsessive behaviours which may become challenging, including harm to themselves and others.  Consequently, children with A.S.C. often cannot access mainstream groups or activity schemes to enjoy the same sort of social and educational experiences as other children.  Furthermore, their families do not get any respite from their responsibilities as carers and many would reach breaking point without help.

To meet these needs we offer a number of services:

Loads of Autistic Fun (L.O.A.F.) – Saturday morning activity groups which the whole family can attend. They run fortnightly during term time from 10am to 1pm in Bedford, Biggleswade, Leighton Buzzard and Luton.  They provide an inclusive environment where all children up to age 12 (those with A.S.C. and their siblings) and their parents/carers are welcome and supported by trained staff and volunteers.

Summer Activity Schemes – These hugely popular schemes run during the first few weeks of the summer holidays in Bedford and Luton, providing social, eductational and play experiences for children with A.S.C. aged 3 to 17 years.  Ours are the only schemes in Bedfordshire and Luton specialised to support children with A.S.C. through having trained staff and volunteers and safe, secure and risk-assessed environments.   We offer a wide range of on site activities and visiting entertainment as well as trips out.
