Autism Bedfordshire is a non-profit making organisation.  The cost of providing our services is over £500,000 per year.  All our services and activities are funded by trust funds, government funds, corporate donations, individual donations, membership payments and the proceeds from fundraising events.

GiftAid Other Ways to Help Us

We have a dedicated Fundraising Officer who spends 20 hours a week researching and applying for funds, supported by an Assistant Development Officer.  We have been fortunate to have received considerable support over the years from the statutory authorities: Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and Luton Borough Council.  We are very grateful to Children in Need, The Bedford Charity, Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales, and the Big Lottery Fund for funding a major part of our services.

However, in this climate of ever-decreasing funds and ever-increasing competition for them, donations from our members and the general public really do make a difference.  We would be delighted if you would like to fundraise for our charity and help us continue to provide our vital family support services. We are happy to offer help and advice and we can supply collection tins, leaflets, posters and sponsor forms.
