Understanding how, why, where and when to use them
Unpicking the causes of behaviour before writing the story
Signposting to useful web resources and literature

Delegates will:
Have a better understanding of the difficulties autism causes in perspective taking and social understanding
Have practical understanding of the theory behind the concept of social stories in addressing these difficulties
Write a social story, from unpicking the behaviour to suggesting alternative courses of action
