Our support groups are running online and cover various topics, we have:
Support for Carers and Parents:
We currently run an online monthly support group online for parents and carers in the evening. We cover a range of topics including sensory sensitivity, communication, Autism & Aging and Health Appointments. These groups are great way to talk over any strategies you may need or just simply have a chat with others who understand.
Wellbeing Group:
We are now running an online support group that runs once a month on a Thursday evening. These can be used to develop coping strategies and to find peer support. These are user led and are planned out using the feedback given to us to ensure we can provide the best possible, tailored support.
Post-Diagnostic Peer Support:
This group is aimed at getting newly diagnosed adults (18+) together to speak about their experiences, get advice from peers and talk about coping strategies. This will run once a month in the afternoon.
